Due to the changing guidelines associated with COVID-19, it is difficult to know the exact impact that we will have by our opening in November. Although there are many unknowns at this time, this is what you can expect from us:
1) All unredeemed tickets purchased in 2020 are valid for use through our 2021 season! You can use them this year OR next!
2) We will keep you updated for any changes to our policies and procedures on our website as we approach the season!
3) We’re elevating our already rigorous sanitation procedures and increasing social distancing across our park!
4) We’ll be following all guidelines from our health and government officials
What about Social Distancing?
As we approach our 2020 season, our team at Santa's Wonderland is working alongside health and safety experts as we plan for increased safety measures and operational changes throughout our park. We are taking a close look at our line queues, and we will be carefully redesigning these lines to better facilitate social distancing guidelines.
Will reservations be required?
At this time, we are preparing to operate similar to previous years with added precautions in place! We will be limiting capacity on the Hayride Trailers to help facilitate social distancing, as well as working to redesign our queue lines! Hayride Tours will not require a reservation, but Hayride Express Passes and Ultimate Express Passes will be available for purchase. If you choose to purchase this add-on ticket, this will allow you to bypass the stand-by line and reduce your wait. Horse and Carriage Tours do require a reservation, as well as on-site Parking in the Rudolph and Prancer Parking Lots. New for our 2020 season: all Horse and Carriage Tours will be PRIVATE carriages! For any families that would prefer the added privacy away from lines and crowds, this is a great option!
Can we get a refund?
For the first time, we have added EXTRA VALUE to ALL 2020 Tickets! ALL unredeemed Tickets purchased in 2020 are now valid to be used through our 2021 Season! We understand that the holidays are a very busy time and unforeseen circumstances may arise during the Christmas season. We’re adding an extra calendar year to use your tickets, so you can be confident in your Ticket purchase to Santa’s Wonderland. Our tickets are nonrefundable, however, there is now more VALUE and more FLEXIBILITY to use your tickets than ever before!
Will you bring back the Drive-Thru?
In 2015 we made the decision to discontinue our drive-through tours. This decision was made in order to help us improve safety inside the park and feeder road, reduce congestion, and to build the Ultimate Texas Christmas Experience! Since then, the infrastructure changes we have made no longer allow us to operate the drive-thru as we did in the past! These past 5 years have seen tremendous park expansions that have eliminated the ability for cars or tour buses to drive through. Although drive-through tours have been eliminated, we do offer the Hayride and Horse and Carriage Tour to view the Trail of Lights! We will be limiting capacity on the Hayride Trailers to help facilitate social distancing, as well as working to redesign our queue lines! In addition, all Horse and Carriage Tours will be private and both Hayride Express Passes and Ultimate Express Passes will be available for purchase to reduce wait times!
